it's funny, i was really paying attention to the background at one point.... just not this point apparently... though it looks like i did wrap the dark cloth around it so... just fail. and too dark.

no, not southern hemisphere - just about 6 months late in posting! Shots from the garden this past spring (2014)

Calla (Bog Arum, Marsh Calla) is a genus of flowering plant in the family Araceae, containing the single species Calla palustris.

Calla Lilies from the field outside.

I had never seen these dark-purple-in-the-center calla lilies before. They had a few of them at the local superstore when we stopped on mother's day. So pretty!
