Though calla lilies are most commonly white, they actually grow in a variety of colors including pink, purple, yellow, and even black. Calla lily’s symbolism varies by flower color.

White calla lilies symbolize purity and innocence.

Pink calla lilies symbolize appreciation and admiration.

Purple calla lilies symbolize charm and passion.

Yellow calla lilies symbolize gratitude.

Originated in South Africa and is a semi aquatic plant. Flourishes in areas with lots of moisture especially here in Florida.

Golden VIP featured on the front page at Golden Pictures Worth 1000 Words

Went out for another short walk this afternoon. Far too windy for most of the photos I took, but I can go back and try again for the ones I couldn't get.

Lovely to be out in the sunshine and I found a bench to sit on before returning home.

I don't often take photos of Calla Lilies as they grow like weeds here and can get rather boring, but these two looked so good.

Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites. :)
