March 26, 2008 - I think to be a photographer (or a painter) you have to have a Calla Lily in your portfolio, right? Here's mine.
We have a huge Calla Lily plant in our backyard, this is one of dozens on it. Shot late afternoon with a hand held flash.
One of our Calla Lilies in the front yard is now blooming. I'm surprised, because I thought these were tropical plants.
Zantedeschia (Family: Araceae)
This is the same Calla Lily that started out the week. Gorgeous.
I'm just about ready to roll on up to Antioch. A few more little details to iron out. I've decided to take the SX-70, too. But that's it. No more. Seriously.
I hope you have a fantastic weekend.
