Calla palustris. Circumboreal with a distribution that includes the northeastern United States, but mainly in Canada and Alaska in North America in bogs, marshes, pond edges, etc. (not known from the western United States, although it once might have been).
Known also as Water arum and Wild calla

At my uncles home they had a wonderful area in the front with dozens of beautiful Calla Lilies. They were always something you would walk by and take a second look at because they added so much beauty to the front of the home.
I spent a full day going around looking for fun new plants/locations to experiment with and thought, "what better thing to photograph?" The image turned out beautifully with the spiral right down to the center in perfect focus with the dark leaves in the backdrop.

Took this photo in my livingroom, bought couple of Calla Lilies for Monday's photosession, they were blooming beautifully and I couldn't resist to shoot them.
Setup my light, tripod, difuser a cheapy backdrop, camera, and voila, had this shots.
