Corpus Christi (Latin for Body of Christ) is a Christian feast in honour of the Holy Eucharist. It was originally assigned to the Thursday following Trinity Sunday, thereby mirroring Holy Thursday, the Thursday of Holy Week, the day on which Christians commemorate The Last Supper of Jesus Christ and his apostles, seen as the first Holy Eucharist. Many English-speaking countries celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi on the Sunday after Trinity Sunday — on the Sunday after the traditional Thursday celebration in other countries. It is customary on this day, after Mass, to hold processions (often outdoors) with the Host followed by Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.

Corpus Christi is primarily celebrated by the Roman Catholic Church but it is also included in the calendar of a few Anglican churches, most notably the Church of England. Anglo-Catholic parishes in other countries observe it unofficially. In Roman Catholic parishes that use the Mass of Paul VI, the feast is known as "the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ". In the Church of England it is known as The Day of Thanksgiving for the Institution of Holy Communion (Corpus Christi) and has the status of a Festival. It is also celebrated by the Old Catholic Church and by some Western Rite Orthodox Christians, and is commemorated in the liturgical calendars of the more Latinized Eastern Catholic Churches.

Mitsuri's unusual emerald armor (most Dasaka are shades of blue) is covered in leather accessories for camouflage and protection. She looks rather naked without it.

Also wow I am remembering why I don't build with dark green very often. The part selection is so limited and it really doesn't photograph well. I did my best to try to brighten it up a bit for these pictures to give you the proper experience.

The ancient Roman calix was a drinking vessel consisting of a bowl fixed atop a stand, and was in common use at banquets. In Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodox Church, Oriental Orthodoxy, Anglicanism, Lutheranism and some other Christian denominations, a chalice is a standing cup used to hold sacramental wine during the Eucharist (also called the Lord's Supper or Holy Communion). Chalices are often made of precious metal, and they are sometimes richly enamelled and jewelled. The gold goblet was symbolic for family and tradition.

Château la Coste, a stone’s throw north of Aix-en-Provence, between forests of green and white oaks, meadows of almond trees and swathes of wildly growing flowers. The rhythm of an eternal Provence.A vast land of wooded hilltops, olive groves and 250 acres of meticulously tended vines. The fields sweep into the distance, swerving as they follow the whim of the hillsides.Farm buildings and workers’ houses come together around a square, shaded by an ancient plane tree, giving a village-like feel. And at the heart of the domaine, a lovely Venetian villa of rose pink hue has stood since 1682.

In 2004 an idea was born among the vines of Château la Coste. The vision was to create a special place where art, architecture and land came together. Artists and architects from all over the world were invited to visit Château la Coste and explore the beauty of the landscape. They were encouraged to choose a place in the domaine that spoke directly to them and were given the freedom to create something that would live there.

Château la Coste today is a place of wine, art and architecture. It will continue to evolve as new projects and installations are developed.

Nothing Is Set In Stone by Mira Calix is an installation overlooking Fairlop Waters not far from Fairlop tube station.

It is part of a season of events called Secrets arranged by the Mayor of London and London 2012. Art has been placed in London's lesser known landscapes to encourage visitors this year.

This installation is unusual as it contains sound effects in the low sonic range as well as human voices. It is audible about 50 yards away.
