Never quite content with the cushy life of a Matoran princess of Kordak Nui's Steppe villages, Boju proved to possess remarkable leader qualities when Dark Hunters invaded her home, proving her worthy of becoming Kojol's Toa Hagah of Air, alongside Toa Onuku.
After becoming one of Kojol's Hagah, Boju contributed some much needed levity to the rather grim teammates, who either found her obnoxious or amusing. After Kojol was killed by the Order in their attempts to erase the location of Artakha, she did her best to keep the team's spirits up, happily going off to fulfill the tablet of Kojol's last wishes... quickly leading her right into the Order's trap to eliminate Kojol's Hagah as well. Her agility, augmented by her Mask of Fate, proved unable to avoid the Order's agents, and she fell among the first of her teammates and family.

Kinda sucked to pose, but I had to give it a try based on the very first drawing I made of Boju that inspired this direction. Plus, I have unlimited uploads now, so why the karz not.

With Ourus finally being posted, I'm officially halfway through Onuku's team/Kojol's Hagah. For a little teaser of what I've got up next and where I've been, you can check out my concept art.
This team built around my self-MOC has all been based around aspects of myself. Onuku is the perfect, ideal version of myself, Boju is a rarer, fun-loving side, and Ourus is my analytical, anxious side that serves her well in her role as tactician.
Also a chance to show some minor updates I've done to Onuku's arms to add some stability.

While the rest of the Kentoku Archipelago is wrapped in petty power squabbles, the Vilda clan has focused themselves on restoring the endangered wildlife left in the wake of these endless wars. They are experts in biology, botany, and breeding, and it is rumored this even extends to their own people. The Vilda clan is known for its extraordinary beauty, and Mitsuri was no exception. Her vanity was only surpassed by her deep commitment to the natural order and a disdain for the powers that upset it. Mitsuri is a voracious scholar, determined to become the very best in her field, but some careless comments led to her studies being restricted before Heiya taught her to better watch her tongue.
Boju's design integrates some pointed shoes and poofy "pants" from the concept art that may be more fitting on an Arabian princess than the feudal Japanese aesthetic of the Steppes... but I'm just a bit fan of the design and the fairly consistent blocky green panels, yellow stripes, and smooth silver armor theme I've got going with her.

Des funérailles solennelles sont célébrées à la cathédrale Holy Cross de Boston et sa dépouille est inhumée au cimetière Mount Benedict. Le 13 juillet 1933, ses restes seront rapatriés au Canada au cours d’une cérémonie solennelle et déposés au cimetière de Côte-des-Neiges à Montréal. Il est aujourd'hui surtout connu pour avoir écrit la musique de l'Ô Canada, hymne national de ce pays.
Starting off the bunch with Jaller, Captain of the Guard, and his... "platonic friend" Hahli. The pair proved just as effective together on the "Island of Doom" as on Mata Nui.
Of course, the most distinctive parts of these guys (even in the sets) are the (organic) masks, and these happen to be one of my favorite Bionicle masks paired with one of my least favorite. The Calix just looks awesome and has an amazing power, and fortunately I got to borrow it from another set I'm working on. And then Hahli got stuck with the mustachio'd compass that gives her headaches, but I guess she was a good sport about it.
Fun fact, Boju repurposes a cloth piece I created for Toa Kazi. And... I couldn't resist giving her a good old classic back gear.

The Kentoku Archipelago's aesthetic is largely based on feudal Japan in its architecture, culture, and clan system. As such, when designing a beautiful Vilda, my greatest reference was geishas. This comes across most clearly in the style of her "hair," using clear pieces to mimic the tight bun that many of them wear. It also compliments the flared sides of the Calix beautifully.
those who follow me on Tumblr (which you really should, i actually do things there) mighta heard about this already. its a small experiment me and my friend tom did. i made the blueprints, he modlelled it, shapeways printed it, fits like a glove.

Guillaume Couture fut le premier Canadien diplômé du Conservatoire de Paris. Dans cette ville, il fut maître de chapelle de Sainte-Clotilde, aux côtés de l’organiste César Franck. Il devint directeur de la Société philharmonique de Montréal en 1880, Couture fonda la Montreal Ladies Vocal Society (1891) et la Montreal Church Choral Society (1895). Il fut maître de chapelle au Gésu. lIl dirigea les chœurs de la cathédrale Christ Church et de l’église Notre-Dame. Après que l’évêque de Montréal, Édouard-Charles Fabre, eut banni les chœurs mixtes des églises catholiques de son diocèse en 1878, Couture réduit pour voix d’hommes des œuvres écrites pour voix mixtes. Il fut un pionnier de la musique au Canada : il dépassait tous ses confrères par l’éventail des formations qu’il animait, par la quantité d’œuvres souvent inconnues et la diversité des compositeurs et des genres qu’il proposait au public. Il a travaillé inlassablement à hisser Montréal au rang des grandes villes musicales nord-américaines. C'était le grand-père du compositeur Jean Papineau-Couture.
