All trains must stop in Aguas Calientes. This fragile tourist town appears to have no other purpose. From here, a short bus ride or a brisk hike will get you to Machu Picchu in a few minutes.

September 16, 2015 - After spending the afternoon at Machu Picchu it is now time to explore Aguas Calientes also known as

Machu Picchu Pueblo which is the gateway to Machu Picchu. We are spending the night here before spending Saturday morning exploring more of Machu Picchu then off to Cusco, Peru.
