Finally I reached the Ojo Caliente natural spring.
I hiked around Monticello looking for a natural spring and ruins from the past.
This historic area is also where Indian Agent John Philip Clum arrested Geronimo and his band of Apaches over 125 years ago, in April 1874.

This Mission Revival Style train depot was built by the Union Pacific in 1923. Today it houses the Caliente city offices and library.
The Caliente Railroad Depot was built by the Los Angeles and Salt Lake Railroad (later the Union Pacific Railroad) in 1923 to serve the railroad's division point on the mainline between Los Angeles, California, and Salt Lake City, Utah. Now City offices.
New car, it's got a SPOILER.
Still no power locks or windows, it's rare, apparently. The only one they did have was WHITE. No thanks! And a two door--not convenient. And it was orange. Yuck.
God punished me for getting a new free car by busting my elbow this morning on the thermostat AND then chipping my GD tooth. Again. Why, God, why?

Named for its bare shoulders and "Fiesta" color (Bernat Sox yarn). #5 needles. Possibly the worst picture my camera phone has ever taken -- sorry, little buddy. You'll probably have to take my word for it that the top and bottom are 2x2 rib and it's knit all in one piece in the round.
