Larry had never been to this delightful mansion museum in downtown Calgary! So on the long weekend, we stopped in and had a great visit. The inside was fascinating, but outside were beautiful gardens as well. A real oasis from the hubbub of downtown Calgary.

I came to Calgary on a family trip. I immediately noticed the change in landscape from Vancouver's mountains (oh it's so obvious, it's punching you in the face)... My favourite part of Calgary was actually the clouds.
Over the last little while I have noticed that I am inspired more by television and movies and less by photos. (Is that strange?) My first camera was a camcorder, afterall. I don't have any photos from high school, they're all videos. I don't have to say it again.... "Breaking Bad" is one inspiring show for anyone who is stimulated by intense visuals. Myself, especially.
On a completely different note, (I need to get this off my chest), M. Night Shyamalan has not only disgraced the original source material for "Avatar: The Last Airbender" but he disgraced the entire medium of filmmaking. That movie was terrible. From the casting, to the execution, to simply framing shots?!?! There are no words.
