Propulsion for the cable cars
We are in a "Restricted area." I was trying to get a picture of this reel from the garage door, reaching and stretching to get the camera around a truck someone had parked in the way when one of the guys working there offered to take a photo of Judy and I standing in front of it. Nice guy!

As I was to learn later, these cars are literally towed by a long loop of cable that goes round and round under the streets.

The cables on the left should be like the ones on the right - as they were until some bright spark tried to steal the copper earth connection. Now the whole lot need to be replaced.
Pattern: Caramel Cable Hat
This hat has been in the making for possibly 2+ years. I started way back when and finally finished it after tinking back to omit one repeat only to still end up a too long hat. Plus it's also extremely roomy. So hmmm.
Same yarn as the Zen hat. I think this hat took a whole ball or more. It's been too long to remember. Just glad it's no longer a UFO haunting me in the corner. :)
