Choosing the right photo for the assignment is not always easy - I played with this one a little and even if I have now picked the pink one I am still not sure...
cwd282: Fantasy - You know, faeries and dragons and dungeons and stuff.
cwd202: Spheres - This one is going to be difficult. It probably won't be too hard to find something spherical to photograph, but your job is to somehow make it interesting. No points for cleverness...the thing you photograph should actually LOOK like a sphere in the photo (i.e. don't shoot the ground and say the Earth is a sphere; don't shoot the sun or the moon which look like circles). Also, no eyeballs.
Still the vuvuzelas. Debate the outcome for another four years.
For the Class With Dave and Dave, week 182, assignment 1 (Chiaroscuro).

I swear I was moving when this was taken. You can't really tell thus making this not the perfect shot for this assignment. I'm just so pleased with how it turned out and it was very, very difficult to take. On my home computer this wasn't as dark as it is on Flickr, I'll have to look into what happened there.
Assignment 1. Frozen Time. We’ve played with motion blur, but there is another very powerful way to convey energy, freeze motion in a way that can’t possibly just exist. High shutter speed in plenty of light will give a nice sharp image no matter how fast your subject may be moving. Images will be judged on sharpness.
