5 squashes of very small size, 4 ears of corn, 1 head of lettuce, a bunch of kale, small white onions, green basil this time (I had a choice, I picked green), and in front we have a small carton of blueberries and a jar of their own honey mustard.

This is a situation I don't expect to happen a lot more as the season goes on, but I had an akward amount of tiny tomatoes to deal with from this week's CSA. So, I made some brown rice, sliced and sauteed some leftover sausages from a BBQ on Saturday, and threw these guys in just to heat through. When they mixed with the rice, they made a beautiful little coating/sauce that tasted like the best of summer. It's so long between good tomato seasons that I forget what they taste like.
