You don't have to snorkel to see the fish in the crystal clear aquamarine waters of the Cayman Islands... All you have to do is peek over your boat and you will see the abundant marine life ... this was taken by the Coral Gardens where new formation of corals are present.

Yeah, my feet aint that pretty but the crystal clear sea was!

I was pleasantly surprised at how clear the water in the Maldives was. Even when the water is 5m deep you can almost see the bottom.

This is due to the fact that the seabed near the shore is made up of coral rather than sand. Coral is whiter and so reflects more light, and also heavier and so doesn't get picked up in when the water churns about so preventing water from getting cloudy.

View from the balcony at Nalusuan island resort - WOW!

One fine morning on the way to work at a remote location.. visit actually. Finally got chance to shoot after a long time :)

The morning after a snowfall found Jenn and I tromping through the snow up a closed-to-vehicles forest service road. The light hit the frozen grass just right, it sparkled and danced in front of us.

Geo-tagged and sized large for wallpaper, enjoy.

Can you believe that water really looks like that?

The Mediterranean in Malia Bay.

Phew, the wedding is over but the post-processing lingers long.

I helped a friend shoot her nieces wedding.

800 odd shots (that's just mine!), and 13 hour day later (home to home time) I am still feeling the effects. . .

I won't be posting many pics as most have people in them. . .but here a couple of the venue detail images.

A good wedding photographer is worth their weight in gold - wish I could say I was one. . .;(( - its a tough gig. . .and I am so not prepared to go that road. . .

Further down the valley, this shallow bedrock is covered with crystal clear water. Again, a poor phone camera gives only an idea of what it was like - and the sense of fresh air is not at all in the picture.

(This is an old photo - I'm finally going through my tow-three year old backlog of photos.)
