Cranberry Orange Muffin - from the Arizona Bread Company Cafe in Tempe, Arizona. This is the first of 5 images in a row taken at this fine cafe. All are in a set I've been building for years - see link in the right sidebar if you are interested.
got up at the time I would normally, drank some coffee, had breakfast, saw some light, drove for 10 minutes to catch the sunrise over Cranberry Lake. Love the later sunrises that winter offers.
Not in Project Database that I could find.

Amazing: This was #1 in Interestingness momentarily and #2 for a while and is now off page one. It was one of those serendipitous shots taken in the grocery store, another reason I generally always have my camera with me. Thank you, all, for liking it so much and for this slew of comments. I must admit I'm surprised by how this image has struck such a responsive chord.

We could capture a new species for me personally, the Cranberry Fritillary.
Handheld shot, as (almost) always.
Ever make those cake mix cookies? I finally did as I had an Orange flavored cake mix I bought in early Spring that I never got around to using. I already had the dried cranberries, so the rest was simple enough. Not bad! The next time I think I'll try using 1/2 cup of unsweetened applesauce instead of oil.
Usually I don't bake cookies like this, but it's always good for me to have a box of cake mix handy.

The Bog Cranberry Farm, Langley, BC
Cranberry farming involves growing perennial, trailing cranberry vines in sandy, acidic soil called "bogs" that are flooded for winter insulation and fall harvest. The unique air-filled structure of berries allows them to float once dislodged by harvesting equipment.
I have a huge box of dry Cranberries, Its enough to last whole winter, dried cranberries contain a significant number of calories, they will help these critters store energy for the coming winter.
Taken from the kitchen window naturally:-)

It was shiny but cold. Picking cranberry take place when it´s cold in the swamp and the berry is frozen.

One of a dramatic series of ancient quartzite rock formations that sit on top of the Shropshire Hills in the north west midlands of England, close to the Welsh border. Taken just after dawn during a thoroughly enjoyable photography trip with the talented Jem Salmon (see his Flickr photostream)
A nice sunset over Little Cranberry Lake, which was calmer than usual, providing some good reflections of the colourful clouds.

Rinsing off some cranberries gave me a phot idea. Yes. The idea of photographing me rinsing off the cranberries. 😁
