I found a silicone candy mold with hearts and used it to create ice cubes. Glass rim is 3" across, ice cube is 1.50" across. HMM, everyone ! !

Local producers prepare for the 27th Fort Langley Cranberry Festival held each fall season in Fort Langley, British Columbia, Canada.
Many years ago, when we were first married, I saw this vase in a store and told my husband that I really liked it. Not taking the hint, he bought one for his mother. I straightened him out though; I got the piece for myself 😉 .

The confluence of Bull Clough (l) and Cranberry Clough (r) in the Upper Derwent Valley. The hill in centre of shot is the start of the climb to Howden Edge.
Bold fall colors juxtaposed with an otherwise dreary scene, dead trees, a bog, and grey skies just off the Cranberry Glades boardwalk in Pocahontas County West Virginia. This shot was taken in between light episodes of drizzle, giving the scene even more of a moody feel. The water in this bog was the lowest I've seen, revealing the mound and ring around the one dead tree, which I thought added more definition to the photo.
Let me know what you think in the comments.

It’s Thanksgiving Day here in Canada and a basic staple is Cranberries. The area where I live is famous for its Cranberry Farms and even the geese enjoy their share as seen in this photo. Early October is usually our annual Cranberry Festival. In fact 2020 will be the first year, in many decades, with no Cranberry Festival. There won’t be big family gatherings this year but it’s still harvest time and many homes will enjoy smaller Thanksgiving dinners for the immediate family. No doubt many will feature turkey and Cranberry Sauce. I’m curious, is that just a Canadian thing or do other countries enjoy this as well?

The borlotti bean is a variety of common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) first bred in Colombia as the cargamanto. It is also known as the cranberry bean, Roman bean, romano bean (not to be confused with the Italian flat bean, a green bean also called "romano bean"), saluggia bean, gadhra bean or rosecoco bean. The bean is a medium to large tan or hazelnut-colored bean splashed or streaked with red, magenta or black.

As I left work and looked up to the sky, I saw what makes most photographers drool with anticipation: feathery, flowing high clouds! I eagerly drove home, catching fleeting glances of the developing sunset while navigating traffic. I had committed the photographer's sin of not having my camera with me at all times, so I needed to get home first. Luckily, there is a lake across the street from where I live, so I hopped across just in time. The lake is not blessed with stunning foreground, so I made the most of it with a low-angle shot and focus-stacked. A 5-stop ND was used to smooth the water. Thanks for viewing!
