The next plantings are starting to flower now. I am hoping they self seed and a few come up in the garden. A lot of the flowers and all of the vegetables are grown from seed by me.

Le mois d'Octobre a été très doux, et le 30 octobre il y avait encore de beaux cosmos dans le jardin.

Bonne soirée et fin de semaine à tous et toutes.

Je vais visiter vos galeries petit à petit.

Cosmos, a favorite flower. Have a seed packet all ready... if our "spring" weather would only cooperate!

Anyone who has done a road trip around March or November in South Africa has witnessed the explosion of pink and white flowers on the side of the road! This pink and white countryside landscape drawing is very familiar to many South Africans.

Painting cosmos flowers in watercolour was one of my Grans favorite subjects and has always been a familiar sight in my house. Paintings of the famous pink and white flowers in landscapes or flower arrangements were scattered around the house. So, of course that influenced and inspired me to draw cosmos flowers in my own style.

Thanks for taking time to fave, comment and look at my work. I really appreciate.

More gold than orange, these cheerful cosmos are blooming in a barrel at Lake Tahoe.

Happy Weekend! Thanks for stopping by and for all of your kind comments, awards and faves -- I appreciate them all.

Cosmos bipinnatus, a medium-sized flowering herbaceous plant

This lovely cosmos flower grows in my front garden and it attracts many bees including this colorful tiny sweatbee with its bright green head. A lovely reminder of summer days.

Another pretty flower from my garden.

I received the results of my CT Scan. I have severe facet joint arthropothy with a large osteophyte (bony growth) obliterating the right neural foramen of the L5/L1 which is obliterating the L5 nerve root. I have been told it can lead to permanent damage to my foot and will need to be treated in the future. What else can go wrong?
