This is the first blossom on our one remaining cosmos plant. It is at least six feet tall. Taken by Edgar.

Cosmos plants have great flowers but their leaves remind me of Rosemary (not the photographer, the herb). Quite photogenic.

Two recent photos, one of some cosmos flowers planted beside the house and the other of a recent sunset behind the house. They were combined using the "depth merge" function on The Gimp.

Probably taken with a Fuji AX-3 and Porst / Fuji 1.6 / 50mm. The camera has a light leak problem, probably because of deteriorated seals around the film window, which I hope I have fixed now.
