Jesus’ teachings centered around helping people find their own internal source of Spirit. He lived what he taught. He was the embodiment of love and goodness, peace and understanding. His God-centeredness allowed him to achieve what we consider miracles because he understood the natural laws of the universe and was able to tap into the great power of love to bring healing to people. He practiced meditation and prayer to gain strength to meet the challenges of daily life. He consistently showed love, kindness, patience, gentleness to others and encouraged them to open to the Spirit within themselves. He said, “The kingdom of Heaven is within.” He lived his life to show us how to find Spirit and what a human personality looks like when he or she is Spirit-centered. He paved the way for us to find God for ourselves. (Donna D'Ingillo)

Consciousness about the opening of Sahasrara.

Consciousness about the judgment from Darvaza.

If the subtle forces of nature such as intelligence, consciousness, and life were fundamentally different in essence from matter, bridging the gap between them could not be explained.

This image is generated from a spike-field coherogram representing neural activities of a mouse's olfactory bulb during a recording trial of a smelling-and-acting experiment. The red area shows a high-level coherent activities in the gamma band among neurons, which lasts less than a second. During this period, the mouse attempts to identify whether he encounters an odor indicating his favorite sugar pellet. Neural activities in gamma bands are fundamental for identifying similarities and differences in the perceptual world for almost all mammalian animals.

Campus Consciousness Tour

Foellinger Auditorium

Champaign, IL

November 1, 2013

Photographing this show was AMAZING. Seriously. GROUPLOVE's lighting was out of this world - some of, if not THE, best lighting I've ever worked with. Saints of Valory and The Knocks also put on really fun sets, which was totally unexpected for me and made me really happy to get to photograph. The best part was that although I hadn't been cleared for a portrait shoot or interview, GROUPLOVE let me take a quick portrait of them after their show, and their guitarist gave me quite a long interview, too. I'd HIGHLY recommend checking them out, especially live. They are an absolute BLAST to watch and listen to, and put so much energy into their performance that I sometimes felt out of breath just from watching!

Consciousness about the existence of the bridge between heaven and earth.

Exposed after rain and snow.

Shiva is pure consciousness. He is the Supreme Lord’s greatest bhakta as he is always meditating upon Narayana. Known as the Lord of Destruction, he stands for the dissolution of the mind, which is exactly what we need in order for pure Love to awaken inside the heart. Through his Grace, Shiva destroys our pride and ego so that bhakti can grow in our hearts and we can rise to attain the Lotus Feet of Lord Narayana.

Our Shivaratri celebrations were hosted live from Mauritius with Paramahamsa Vishwananda and Shree Peetha Nilaya - The Ashram. Festivities included several Shiva-lingam abhishekams, yajnas, and beautiful kirtan by Bhakti Marga's devoted and talented musicians.

If we wish to know about a man, we ask 'what is his story - his real, inmost story?' - for each of us *is* a biography, a story. Each of us *is* a singular narrative, which is consructed, continually, unconciously, by, through and in us - through our perceptions, our feelings, our thoughts, our actions; and, not least, our discourse, our spoken narrations. Biologocally, physiologically, we are not so different from each other; historically, as narratives - we are each of us unique.

To be ourselves we must *have* ourselves - possess, if need be re-possess, our life-stories. We must recollect ourselves, recollect the inner drama, the narrative of ourselves. A man *needs* such a narrative, a continuous inner narrative, to maintain his identity, his self.

Graffiti Consciousness - The Art of Street Politics

Free exhibition @ Pogo Café, Hackney, London - May 2007

Is graffiti mindless?

Whatever you think about graffiti, from tags to major works of art, there are some graffiti artists whose work is often outwardly political and social; sending out a strong, sometimes subtle, message about the state of our society today.

The exhibition features Martin Bull’s black & white photographs of street graffiti and posterings by Banksy, Arofish, Mantis, Jimmy Cauty, El Chivo, Eine, Shepard Fairey, Blek le Rat, Junkerade, & others, as well as accompanying art works by several of the above. Original art on loan includes three from Arofish; a brand new canvas, a stunning 'Eject & Survive on a map of Afghanistan, and a cardboard version of the angel and paratroppers. mantis has done an iNeed on a page of The Financial Times, and I've also got a canvas from Junkerade.

It opened on the 2nd of may, which was also the 4th anniversary of the occupation of Iraq. Only 26,540 civilian deaths in this 4th year- ho hum.....
