I wanted to video how Harley is with the leash, to be able to mark his progress. I adopted Harley on Friday, and his entire walk was almost a drag. He has made great progress...as you can see he has his tail up, and is walking with confidence. If you watch my previous video, he is still frightened at the beginning (indoors) - but that was what he was like for the entire walk.
Go Harley!
She is confident.
Never filled with doubts.
Moves boldly forward.
She is peace.
She is strong and fearless.
She is confident.
This small truck is driving over this concrete slab layed across the Kumozu River in central Mie. From the driver's perspective, it's not much different than crossing the Bridge of Khazad-Dum in Lord of the Rings.
I'd seen this bridge numerous times from the train, but never saw a truck crossing it before. I'd wanted this picture the whole time I lived in Mie but had to ultimately wait until this trip I took as a Tokyo resident in mid-July 2014 - it was the very last time I would ride the Kintetsu Urban Liner as a resident of Japan, so good timing.
Tia was promised a ride which was fast. Somebody had to join her, and unfortunately I drew the short straw.
These rides turn my stomach, and I was just after drinking a nice pint of Guinness. I barely held it together.
