Gen Con 2012 - Day 4
MOMENTS AFTER THE WIN! Cool and confident.
The last day of Gen Con for us pretty much focused on the conclusion of the qualifying tournament for the Catan World Championships. Alex and I were both in the top 16 finishers who broke off into 4 games. I gave it a good go, and on my last turn couple have won, but didn't get the roll I so desperately needed. Alex, on the other hand, not only won his semi-final game but went on to win the whole tournament! AMAZING! I could not be more happy for his success and for what this says about our games at home with all our great regular players. Alex will be getting married instead of attending the world tournament, but he's still considered one of the best!
