Close enough ?!
Way too close, in fact, as this is an old Photax camera built by a French company back in the 50's, and it's nothing but a prime wide angle lens.
Strobist info (Setup shot here) :
- 70mm, 1/200s @ f/2.8, ISO 100
- One SB-28 camera right in small DIY softbox at 1/64
- Front-left, left and back is surrounded by white paper overexposed by another SB-28 (inside the folded paper) at 1/8.
- Triggered via Cactus v4
This was a possible 365 Days shot. I didn't have much in the way of sunset to shoot so I was playing with the long exposure. I like this one, but I'm going with my other shot from tonight for my submission.
Taken at my mates birthday party I found this girl inviting me to come dance...
Obviously having the camera in hand I grabbed the pic and then joined her =D
Amazing clouds tonight however I could not get out and take any photos as I have a very sore back/neck so house bound. Snapped this from the terrace. Can you spot the plane:)
From the mind of a Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare developer comes Paperbound, a competitive couch multiplayer game for 2-4 players. Play as storybook characters that have been brought to life for the sole purpose of delicious mayhem in lightning-fast battles. Run with scissors. Walk on walls. Invert gravity with the twitch of a thumb, melee unsuspecting friends, and lob ink bombs from the ceiling. Laugh with glee as your enemies hurl themselves upon your blade, staff, or hammer. Be it intense competition or moments of pure hilariousness, there’s something for every brawler fan! Paperbound. Smashy, smashy fun for up to four friends in the same room.

Dal Hangry spending time by a strange bench in my local town, Witham (pronounced 'Wittem'). This metal bench is really more of a piece of surrealist sculpture than a seat; its lines are all at strange angles, and it dips sharply in the middle, so that two people sitting on it with slide together!
Hangry isn't very happy with this bench. It is full of huge gaps for her legs to fall through, and she thinks that it's a very poor seat indeed! She has admitted, though, that it's not bad for climbing, although it does need some fresh paint.
The bench was presented to Witham when the town was twinned with Waldbröl in Germany. It is entitled 'Come Closer', I suppose because it brings people together, metaphorically and literally! It is a very bizarre thing, it looks like a car has crashed into it, and it has real charm and character, just like Hangry!
♥ sorry sis was ill and couldn't come , get well soon alli .... sure the celebrations will continue all week mostly with wine i should expect ♥ mum putting on smile as the meal was pretty crap!sorry dad i know you paid ... .. don't hear me say that very often...if ever ... i didn't photograph the soup ..as it looked like what i find in the bottom of my dish washer ... the best thing about it was the roll mum said laughing.. her Vegetables were over cooked and cold... there was broken bits of ceramic plate in her fish pie that again looked pretty sad looking .after telling the staff , they didn't seem to bothered by the fact mum had been chewing there dinner service !!found that rather shocking.. it was razor sharp.. they served noodles on a sizzler?? odd .. there's were over cooked and all oily.. the lasagne was so salty i couldn't eat it all ! now when have i EVER left lasagne !! never ! and my girlfriends can vouch for the fact i have lasagne 99% of the time i eat out .. the only real successful dish was the mixed grill .. the steak was fab and you know how much i like sausage ! pep fed me some of his :) we didnt risk pudding... mum was threatening to hit the fish n chip shop on the way home ! hhahhaahah! never mind mum ♥ we will put it down to just bad luck — at The barley mow Hartford.
Molly would not go down the slides by herself, so no pictures of her sliding, but here comes Allison!
Front: "Come around when you've time to pass. We can swing in the hammock or lie in the grass."
Letter on back: "Hello friend Bertha, Say Bertha I am going to Willshire (?) and can't comedown Thursday night, hope it don't make you made, about Sat. night I will be in Decatur, and would like to see you, so ans soon and excuse poor writing. From a friend."
For nearly two weeks the sun has been hiding! Its been crying because it can't shine its wonderful rays to us! Anyways when I took this picture all I could think about was the movie "Contact" which stars Jodie Foster...I kind of mix her up with Helen Hunt as well.
Anyways, in the movie she gets some weird signal from outerspace. They built what looks like an atom to me..and she is the only one that could ride the thing. Anyways she finally gets to her destination and she's at a beach..and meets her father or what the aliens think she wants to see. It was beautiful, serene but sad because a lot of people didn't believe her because she went right through the thing (the big circular transport thing).
I mean I like the rain but it would be nice to see some sun. :)
Hope you all have a great week! Be safe! Be happy! and give out some HUGS! :)
HAPPY MONDAY BLUES
