With the iconic Tamar Yacht Club nearby, this part of the Tamar River has quite a few cruising yachts as well. The silo in the background is part of the Still Water complex, and was originally built for Ritchie's Mill in 1910. In fact they are not just any grain silo, but were designed by Launceston's preeminent architect of the time, Alexander North (1858-1945). But the invitation to come aboard the yacht in the foreground is very alluring.

We made our way to the north once we had gotten our rental car on Monday. We were also fortunate that the weather was cooperating. We drove all the way to Grundarfjörður under the cloudy skies. It was one of the most beautiful scenic highways I have ever driven. We saw houses like the one in this photo just sitting in front of the towering snowy mountains. I definitely need to come back and drive the Ring Road to cover the entire island.

Clouds at various elevations stack themselves atop the softly glowing Henry Mountains, with the canyons of the Green River glowing with sunrise light in the foreground, Grandview Point, Canyonlands National Park, Utah.
Investigating troves of images from the past, I discovered this one, which brought me back instantly to one of the most memorable sunrises I can recall, mostly due to the fact that I don't get out with my brother very often, and he was foolhardy enough to come with me and experience the biting cold, wind and light. Hot coffee helped, but it was still a bit of a motivational issue to leave the shelter of the van.
Here's to family and no common sense!
My camera has been idly put on the shelf for quite a long time now. I didn't have much time to snap let alone go for travelling. Easter break is in the air. My other friends are having their good time in Prague now. I didn't tag along sebab takde duit. Huhu..
So as always, I'd just sit in my room, wait for the nature to colour itself and present it to my eyes. And here it is.. coming fresh from my 'bored' cam. Just turned the saturation up a bit by +1.7, added the border and the watermark.
"Seasons may change.. Winter to Spring.. COME WHAT MAY.."
update: I've removed the border. Thanx to momad :) Hehe.. Yea, it looks better now :P
