The Force Awakens had a lot of "whoa" moments for me, but this one was silent. Finn's bravery sent a tremor down my spine. Finn looked terrified; like he had no idea what he was doing. All he knew was that he was defending his friend. He also knew he was probably gonna die doing so. This was his defining moment. Finn had reached the end of his character arc in this story. He started out as a villain and ended a true hero. Where will Finn's character go from here?

Minor Majority - Come Back To Me
I recently had the pleasure of spending a day with Sara, a Spanish exchange student, and thought I would take her to see the Carpinteria Seal Rookery. We took the trail along the bluffs above the Pacific Ocean and when we arrived to the overlook the above photo is just about all we saw, a trail one left as it made its way back to the water and a seagull seemingly looking for them just as we were.
We were able to watch a couple in the surf, but the large group you can sometimes see wasn’t there.
So, we spent the rest of the day in Santa Barbara.

Sometimes it's good news that comes in threes. The Lurgan Branch was the place to be Tuesday afternoon with a trio of leading locomotives that brought out the railfans: UP 2001 leading NS 211, NS 911 leading NS 956 and NS 1071 leading NS 38Q. Lady Liberty left Hagerstown with the afternoon sun at her back, so I waited for her at treed-in curves before Stuart Road to blunt the wicked backlight.

That's the place where i falled in love with photography and where i love returning again and again.
Boy these critters are all over the place out here where I live!! Sam called awhile ago on his way home and said come on...bring my camera as their right down the road. So we've been photographing these elk for the past hour. Boy there's quite a crowd when they show up!!! LOL...sure wish I could get closer!! lol...😄 They always go to the oddest places where you can't photograph them real well....I'm on a bridge here!😜
