The scene was illuminated by two Nikon SB900 speedlights CL/CR, fired in Manual mode @ ½ power through Neewer 24" soft boxes. A steady LED at 12-o'clock shown through a textured glass created the metallic highlights.
The SB900s were triggered by PocketWizard Plus Xs.
Lens: Vega 11U 50mm/f2.8 attached to a bellows extended 135mm.

This is a shot from the nature trail at our hotel in San Antonio. The place had such wonderful light and scenery - enough to make it worth a photo vacation I think! And since this is a hill country scene I felt this song was a good match youtube.com/watch?v=fjC4HXwLzBU.

This narrow path, flanked by beautiful coastal flowers, led down to the sands at Gwithian, on the horizon is a tiny glimpse of the famous Godrevy lighthouse.
