J'y retournerai ;-)
She isn't called the City of Light for nothing.
Taken from the 59th floor of Tour Montparnasse in the 15th arr. I am a novice at landscape/cityscape photography and used only a circular polarizing filter. I have yet to learn how to use specialized filters.
I tried to time my shots until I got the "spread" of light directly at the top--as if it's illuminating the whole Parisian skyline. Exposure was 2.5 sec.
Napoleon had expensive tastes. Most people come for the art on the walls. I was blown away by the intricate ceilings.
It makes me happy this photo has received so much love. I almost didn't upload it. I wasn't pleased with the composition of people but I loved the light on the fountain. The light changed with in seconds of this shot so there wasn't a chance to try again.

Pointe du Vert Galant is a small park located at the western end of the Ile de la Cité, in the middle of the Seine in Paris. From there, the view of the banks of the Seine is absolutely magnificent.
All in all, the view from Pointe du Vert Galant is a spectacular view of one of the most beautiful areas of Paris, showcasing the architecture, history and charm of the City of Light.

the eiffel tower, an iron giant reaching for the clouds, reveals both its strength and grace when viewed from below. this angle celebrates not only the scale but the delicacy of its latticework, like a piece of intricate lace set against the sky. capturing paris from this perspective gives new life to the cityâs most iconic symbol.
From the Right Bank of the Seine, a majestic view unfolds: the silhouette of the Eiffel Tower rises behind the dome of the Institut de France, embraced by historic architecture and the whispering leaves of summer trees. Above, a dramatic sky breaks open with a golden beam — a divine spotlight casting grace over Paris. The city, ancient and modern, breathes in the light as if history itself were glowing.
~ in a cycle of our lifetime, sometimes we are up there flying high, and sometimes we are down.
If people said life isn't fair, I think it's fair.. we won't be up there forever or down here suffering the rest of our life as well..
Thus, be grateful of what we have while we are up there, and don't give up life easily when the going gets tough... as our fate will always rotate like the ferris wheel does... ~
Trying a time blend of a famous location in Paris. We had a gin and tonic at the top enjoying the sunset and the light display. Another amazing time with my partner in crime supporting me.
