Another view of Toronto and the CN Tower. I remember visiting years ago and half these sky scraping dwellings weren't built then. Hard to believe that this shot was taken the same day as my other Skyline images. It was pretty grey and cloudy as we caught the ferry, then whilst on the island with little or no cover it rained like you have never seen the likes of for around 10 minutes, after that, blue skies and sunshine the rest of the day.
On the left side you can see the twin towers of the Frauen Church.

have been given the opportunity to shoot some pretty special places recently, this is the view from one of them...love this perspective as it has a lot happening in it...
in the center right of the image is the axa building, what was once the tallest structure in sydney...dwarfed by its neighbours now...
harry's mlc tower also makes it into the shot...always thought this was a tall building until i visited new york...there the woolworths building (near downtown i think, built in 1913) is only slightly smaller...made me feel like sydney was a provincial town...
annnnyway, some come for the harbour, some for the surf...me, i stay for the (ur)banality...
now, back to the grindstone...
The modern city has never been as popular as it is today. This contemporary catalyst for seeming progress appears to grow endlessly within an endless space.
Things come thick and fast while it amazingly manages to calmly fulfill the desires demanded: it is hip, it offers work, it has an infrastructure, culture, education, shopping possibilities or even parks.
It changes in lightning-speed with that vibrant atmosphere which we admire so much. Whereas one still tries to remember how it had looked a few days ago, the time to indulge in reminiscences is limited.
- The city never sleeps -
