Sandon city hall now stands mostly alone surrounded on all sides by dramatic forested mountains. I built up this city for a client (www.thermodynamix.ca) from his products. Here is the Night Version.

Auckland City from Stanley Point. I used a 5 stop ND filter to get a 73 second exposure, and to get some nice movement in the clouds.

Heading back to base, 50007 Hercules and 50049 Defience coast towards Shenstone with 0Z23 Leicester LIP to Kidderminster SVR.

The view of New York City (NYC), 42nd Street filled with spectators, Bank of America, Times Square, New York Times Building, Empire State Building (ESB), New Yorker Hotel, One Penn Plaza, and the aftermath of the fireworks viewed from Weehawken, New Jersey after the Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks 2011 in New York City over the Hudson River.

Looking East across the Hudson River with New York City Police Boats (blue streak of light on the city shoreline), two of the Macy's fireworks barges, and various other boat traffic showed up rather nicely in this image.

I am planning btw to start to tweet on my twitter account photo ops in NYC and surrounding area within 24 hours (of the event) and a link to a map for each. As for TurtleSnapper I plan to add some tutorials as well as in-depth discussion of some lesser known locations to shoot from in New York City and how to access them (along with images of course).
