I love this section of the Thames between London Bridge and Tower Bridge. One side dominated by the Shard and the More London buildings and the other by the Tower of London and the City district with its iconic buildings such as the Walkie Talkie and Gherkin. HMS Belfast can be seen just off shore. (To be honest I've not yet had chance to photograph anywhere else in the city).
I like this photo because it gives a good view of both the Lloyds and the Gherkin, two of my favourite buildings in the City. This photo was taken during the Open House Weekend from the top floor of Plantation Place on Fenchurch Street.

When you're on the road and moving city to city, when someone isn't there at the end of the night, you feel empty.

New York City - Novembre 2011
There are so many flowers in the spring, it's hard to walk anywhere without stopping to take photos.

The World Financial Center is a complex of buildings across West Street from the World Trade Center site in Lower Manhattan in New York City, overlooking the Hudson River. This complex is home to offices of companies including Merrill Lynch, Nomura Group, the Wall Street Journal and American Express, as well as Dow Jones among others. The entire complex is owned by Brookfield Properties, except for the space occupied by American Express (which American Express owns). The complex also serves as the corporate headquarters for Brookfield Properties, which has its headquarters in Tower Three.
Designed by César Pelli, with Adamson Associates, the complex was built by Olympia and York between 1985 and 1988 on landfill used to build Battery Park City. The fill material came from dirt excavated during the building of the World Trade Center, as well as garbage, dirt and debris.
Portions of the complex, especially the Winter Garden, were severely damaged in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, but have since been reopened after significant repairs.
The complex has its own zip code, 10281.

Stockholm City Hall (Swedish: Stockholms stadshus or Stadshuset locally) is the building of the Municipal Council for the City of Stockholm in Sweden. It stands on the eastern tip of Kungsholmen island, next to Riddarfjärden's northern shore and facing the islands of Riddarholmen and Södermalm. It houses offices and conference rooms as well as ceremonial halls, and the luxury restaurant Stadshuskällaren. It is the venue of the Nobel Prize banquet and one of Stockholm's major tourist attractions.
Construction started in 1911. The building was inaugurated on 23 June 1923. Architect was Ragnar Östberg.
