The Citadel of Ashdod is an Iron Age archaeological site on the Mediterranean coast of Israel in southern part of the modern city of Ashdod. The site is mentioned in documents from the time of Sargon II of Assyria when in 713 BCE the Assyrian king speaks that he took over control of the city of Ashdod and had fortified it.

The Hawks of Imperial Retribution do not use a skull as their chapter symbol, instead this marks the marine out as part of the chapter's command structure. I decided that as my old Hawks models follow the Rogue Trader era habit of putting the chapter symbol on the left should pad I'd keep doing that even on this modern model.

The site was candle lit for one hour being one of the remarkable archeological iconic sites in Jordan and the city of Amman; to demonstrate the importance of conserving nature and archeology marking Jordan on the Earth Hour Map

Aleppo's citadel has a huge court in its upper quarters. This is where the rule held his office. Beautiful and very delicate woodwork with colored windows interact in a magnificent manner. Very difficult to capture without HDR.
