I needed to replace the resin, so called, rod (much more like a whip...) for a metallic one... yes, this one is for the guys of Forgeworld, make your models worthy for what we paid for!
a picture i took on a recent trip to Hong Kong of the traffic chaos for the free tunnel. The toll tunnel coincidentally has no traffic.
The chaos here is overwhelming. Millions of people pushing and shouting. I am able to escape it all by focusing my mind on a serene place. Only through this escape can I focus on the real purpose of my visit here… to cleanse my body and mind, and feel the power of the river wash everything away.

Day 7/365
7th April '11
From my iPhone Hipstamatic app - Just to add in something that wasn't taken from home this week - work and a 3 yr old our prevent me popping out in the eve with the camera!
Today is my Friday as I only work Monday - Thursday. Thursdays are a nightmare for me though as there is nobody that covers my job on a Friday so I'm working in over drive to get everything completed otherwise I have millions of emails and calls to deal with on my day off. My desk is always so manic - i'm surprised I still find things. There's actually another bit of my desk on the end, which I couldn't fit in with my iPhone that has a mahoosive pile of paperwork on
chaosnippers
Well done Chaos, thats a season of Nippers done, whilst I have enjoyed the routine egg and bacon roll and coffee as you tear up and down the beach and in and out of the water, I think only one of has gotten fit ;)
A big hat tip to the great crew of instructors (Bluefit), dealing with these little nippers is a bit like herding cats on speed ;)
I was struggling to catch something for our Theme, today, until I came across this single little flower - dandelion, I think! - just off the beach!
7 Days of Shooting Week #36 Chaos Focus Friday ....

Our Chaos Glycerin Soap is a new twist on the basic cool water scent. It's fresh, sexy, and clean. Like the chaos theory, our Chaos Glycerin Soap is the perfect blending of sensitivity and strength. Need we say more...
This week's theme in the "52 1/2 weeks of 2009" group is chaos, and this is certainly what this looks like! Actually Diane and Rebekah were cleaning out cabinets in what used to be the girl's playroom, now Diane's quilting/sewing room beyong this mess and Rebekah's scrapbooking/crafting space.
Actually most of the space is very organized but they had pulled everything out of the cabinets here.
Diane was given the assignment to cover the Kings of Chaos at The Paramount in Huntington, NY. This tour consists of Billy Gibbons, vocalist and guitarist from ZZ Top, Robin Zander, vocalist from Cheap Trick, Chester Bennington, vocalist from Linkin Park, Billy Duffy, guitarist from The Cult, Steve Stevens, guitarist from Billy Idol, Robert DeLeo, bassist from Stone Temple Pilots and Matt Sorum, drummer from Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver. On the Challange:
I challenged myself to paint 52 Models this year (2013) in a good standard.
This is Model no. 47 + a Lantern :)
I want the models to have highlights and shadows, all details painted, base with several layers.
I had a couple of ideas for the chaos theme but this is the only one I could actually execute in the alloted time. I probably don't need to say it but it is just a 20 sec exposure with a laser pointer on a black background.
The first time in awhile it hasn't rained for a few days. So the ground got dry enough for mom to let me outside.
Again, I don't like the desert look of the grass on this model and will probably redo it. Also, when I painted him I was going to go with a Crimson Slaughter theme on the whole Chaos Space Marine army he's a part of but then changed my mind and made the rest of them Black Legion. I can either go back and paint all his armor black instead of red or say screw it and pretend he's on loan. :)

I'm pushing ahead and figure the way forward is to put aside all my current projects and paint something I've never even considered before and see how I go with the motivation... To that end I spent the afternoon making a base for my chaos sorcerer guy... At least I think he's a chaos sorcerer... Truth be told I have ZERO clue where I got this miniature. It did say GW on the tab, so at least I know the brand...
