One of a oldest sim in Second Life, home of Phobos Design. I used to hang out at here and WaterWorks next by this sim with my friends year before last or thereabouts, explore the sim during MicroSoft Challenge.

The Hun Dun, a chinese god of chaos. They are described as having a faceless golden sack of a body and six synnabar colored legs. Acrylic on masonite. Commission.
I took this several months ago under great duress. It symbolically matches the sea of chaos I was drowning in. Every fiber of my being resonated on a natural harmonic verging on shattering me into a thousand pieces. I keep being drawn to this image months afterwards and I thought others might enjoy it. While I initially thought it was a stupid idea, I find beauty in the chaos.
It was only afterwards did I realize that others have done this trick before with lasers. We live in a time when virtually everything that can be done has been done.

The Sierpinski carpet is actually an example of Chaos Theory. If you think of the light area representing Order and the dark area representing Chaos. As the number of stages (iterations) increases, the dark area which does not meet the condition (ie is in a state of Chaos) decreases. Ironically it is the Chaos that we see as being real and the Order as holes which are cut out of the Chaos.
The Sierpinski carpet and Menger Sponge are striving to achieve the maximum perimeter/surface area with the minimum mass. However, there is a point when the mass disappears and all you are left with is a virtual structure, which exist without any associated mass.
I have provided a translation of some of the tags I use on Flickr which you may find interesting www.flickr.com/photos/flights_of_fancy/6973610225/
The Victoria session revisited - back then I only shared a collage of all these shots together. The primitive phone app had such low resolution that individual photos could not be viewed in detail.
Not that there is much detail to look at, but now I (re)discovered them as glimpses of a busy world, photographic documents in their own right, if not pieces of art...
On day 2 of the traffic disruptions at The Mound, the council decided to put up this informative sign to warn drivers.
I kid you not this hasn't been photoshopped. If the council can't QC a sign going up what hope do we have as tax payers that the trams will work ?
This picture is done via photogram methods and it was part of an experiment with the enlarger. The timing was done with 9 seconds run time.
