NATCA Director of Safety and Technology Tom Adcock and FAA UAS Integration Office Deputy Executive Director Abby Smith moderated a panel titled “Aviation’s New Frontier: Has the Jetson’s Age Arrived?” at #NATCACFS 2022, focusing on the addition of new technologies to the National Airspace System (NAS), which will affect the jobs of the workforces NATCA represents. Panelists included Joby Aviation Head of Government Affairs Greg Bowles, Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) President and CEO Brian Wynne, Xwing Chief Technology Officer Maxime Gariel, and NATCA National Unmanned Aircraft Systems Article 114 Representative Will Hutson.
