NATCA Director of Safety and Technology Tom Adcock and FAA UAS Integration Office Deputy Executive Director Abby Smith moderated a panel titled “Aviation’s New Frontier: Has the Jetson’s Age Arrived?” at #NATCACFS 2022, focusing on the addition of new technologies to the National Airspace System (NAS), which will affect the jobs of the workforces NATCA represents. NATCA National Runway Safety Representative Bridget Singratanakul moderated a panel on the #NATCACFS 2022 main stage titled “Mistakes Happen: But They Don’t Have to be Repeated,” with panelists AOPA Air Safety Institute Senior Vice President Richard McSpadden, NATCA National Human Performance Representative Aaron Katz, and Corporate Pilot Sheri Kontra.
NATCA’s Director of Safety & Technology Tom Adcock kicked off this morning’s Tech Talks at #NATCACFS 2022. Tech talks are a chance for CFS attendees to hear detailed updates on commercial space, new technologies being implemented in the National Airspace System, and more from the NATCA and FAA reps closest to these lines of business.
