More Main Street... Our town was burned to the ground by the Confederate Army during the civil war, so most of the buildings in the area were rebuilt using brick and stone. Wood frame buildings are rare.

The St.Blazey Lizard is still in good condition on 375037 in 2015, seen here at Wheal Henry, Goonbarrow.
This is a "hens and chicks" plant in bloom. We just recently learned that they only bloom when one of the bunch is getting ready to die. We've had this one in a clay pot outdoors for quite a few years and it only started blooming over the last few years and it has survived some pretty cold Pennslyvania weather over its lifetime. We didn't even know they would do this when we got it, so imagine our surprise when we discovered flowers years after acquiring it.

Wolverhampton's 1963 AEC Reliance 470 Park Royal bodied bus 705, one of only 3 of this type in the fleet. 705 CDA is awaiting it's next turn of duty on the main apron at the front of Park Lane depot.

'Merry Go Round' coal hopper (TOPS code HAA) number 353224 was fitted with a flexible roller roof by G Nevilles Ltd in 1987 and trialled on china clay workings. By the end of 1987 an order was placed for 124 new CDA wagons to replace the ancient fleet of clayhoods. The prototype kept its 323224 number but being nearly 20 years older than the standard fleet was withdrawn in 2004. The wagon remains stored at St.Blazey with the intention of being preserved. This I.D. plate has since been 'pinched'.
