CDA wagons were never loaded at Ponts Mill but after closure and demolition of the works a temporary shed was erected for the shot blasting and repainting of the type. The wagons in the picture are awaiting attention, once done the solebar would be in EWS red.

As the Cornish rail scene has become absolutely boring, myself and a handful of others purchased a CDA upon their withdrawal. We worked hard to get in looking good for August 11th, a year since they last left Fowey. One of the few CDA wagons never to loose it's ECC blue colour, only receving the EWS red to the ends and now with DB logos. Recent news from Cavalex Models makes my huge amount of Hornby models of these almost worthless and my bank needing boosting to buy the new ones!
