I was passing through Chicago on my way from a Navy school in South Carolina to my ship in Long Beach. In Union Station I saw an add for this trip and fortunately last minute tickets were available. This was a special on the CB&Q from Chicago to Savanna via Mendota and Denrock with the 4960 and 5632, returning from Savannah on the mainline with just the 5682. Don Crimmin wrote, "this appears to be the 'electrics', which was the interlocking just east of Mendota", where I believe the line to Denrock diverged.
