Apart from all the flower pictures I've also tried to shoot some more minimalistic things with my Helios 44-2. This picture turned out to look pretty cool, where it seems like the bokeh of the sunlit branch has caught the young sprout. Hope you like it!
Taken on one of my favourite hunting grounds, York St. I swear this street just keeps on giving. Love it.

Benni is very busy this last year, making sure Rena the kitten doesn't get too much attention. She comes when we call Rena, she conveniently gets between us when Rena comes for pets, and here she found me reading on "Rena's" bed, in the guest bedroom.
Rena bops her on the nose but Benni isn't intimidated by any of that. Personally, I think it's good for Benni to have this new dynamic in the house after 11 years of being an only child. Benni would disagree.
(Due to various circumstances, Benni Girl is overdue for a good grooming. Next Tuesday she'll get all trimmed up.)

An Oak leaf caught in a Holly bush.
A day that began bright and frosty soon became overcast and wet, the moisture enhancing the colours of the wet leaves.
Was off to do some other stuff when I got a "SSR & CLP on a grainy heading your way" call, so ducked over to Menangle quickly for this to arrive as soon as I got there before 7 days of rain.
SSR101 and CLP12 run 8140 loaded grain through Menangle to Weston's Milling.

Saturday Self Challenge: Halloween/Day of the Dead
Well, this was one challenge I was not going to participate in. Whilst Halloween celebrations have gained in popularity in Australia, they have never been of any interest to me at all!
However, when walking past some honey-combed cliffs yesterday, the shapes and shadows opened up all sorts of possibilities. See in them what you will!
Bahbahra felt the arrow bokeh I caught the other day could be used to highlight her in a photo so here it is :)

The videographer of the #80stays photo walk Amsterdam with Trey Ratcliff. Shot during the after party.
Late on a summer evening, around 10 at night, looking down from Lothian Road over the old bonyard of Saint Cuthbert's to the clock tower of the church, framed by these trees in the foreground, and Edinburgh Castle behind. Sun was already below the horizon (barely) but at this time of summer it takes ages for the sky to darken in Scotland, and the taller structures still caught a faint, fading light from the north-west sky.
