Finally caught a drop at the time of release. Too bad the shutter speed was so slow. Oh well.

Feather caught in the grass until the breeze carried it off.

I hung up another bird feeder over the weekend, and this sneaky squirrel thought a short-cut over the garage roof was the best way to access it. He didn't notice me until it was too late and froze for just a second, and that's when I took the shot. I thought he was just too cute not to post. :)

in the depths of madrid’s metro, time bends. the train rushes past, a blur of blue and white, but she remains still, suspended in her own moment. the motion frames her, yet she is untouched by its chaos. her warm-toned jacket stands in soft contrast to the cold metal and streaking lights, a quiet resistance against the rush.

the image feels like a story half-told—a fleeting second where movement and stillness collide. in her gaze, there’s a question, a pause, or maybe just a quiet thought. in a city that never stops, she is the still point in the storm.

This mallard wasn't too sure about being caught with his feathers not quite perfect!

by a camera ! I'm quite sure that Sethi would have taken a different way home if he had known that a camera was nearby.:)

Sorry for being behind with commenting, I had (and still have) a computer problem. At the moment I do my work from different computers in the family. I also have an old notebook from a friend but it's almost impossible to process photos on it as the display is too dark and the colour quality too low. No idea if I have overdone the brightness, contrast and colours here.

It is early spring here in South–Africa, and breading time for most bird species.

To my surprise this Blackeyed Bulbul was ripping off small pieces washing-line, to line their nest.

Hope you will enjoy this photo.

This is a piece of reed that has blown onto this barbed wire fence, becoming caught. It's interesting to me because the last time I was here I saw fur/hair caught on a similar piece of barbed wire. It was winter time and I thought that the fur belonged to a coyote that had just walked across the frozen lake and didn't quite duck enough to clear the barb. I wondered if it felt the sharpness of the barb.

Hare running towards greener pastures.

Caught this big boy @ EcXtasy XoTiX's tournament. Was a good catch to get me into the top listings....almost needed help bringing it in, good thing my pup Bella was nearby.

The tiny flowers from the Verbena end up scattered all over the garden, this one is caught in the stems of some ornamental grasses.

Oldest caboose I recall getting of the former Great Northern. Also the most colorful with the gold lettering.

We were fishing amongst the Andaman Islands when this juvenile white-bellied sea eagle (haliaeetus leucogaster) flew out from the nearby coastline. The bird kept flying past our boat, no doubt hoping we would catch and provide a fish. What a contrast in coloration to the adult bird, that has a bright, white breast, head and neck.
