I actually forgot I had this Casey, a blonde, no green ear or fading. I acquired her a few years ago and she was packed separately from my other Francies. I recently upgraded her body. I bought her the Sears Casey Goes Casual dress, mismatched cut-out shoes and some Pazam pieces to give her a fun, mod look.
Got more Francie clothes recently! Casey is wearing 'Striped Types' from 1970 ( one of my faves!) featuring groovy pleather red flap pockets and cropped flares. Francie has got on 'Pony Coat ' also from 1970 and featuring pleather pockets and that groovy belt... Since the lining of this FAB coat is a grassy green, I left on her chartreuse hose from 'Merry-Go-Rounders' and added Barbie's white lace-up boots as I thought they go better with this. She's holding another fave of mine:- 'Floating in' from 1968... I had to repair the neckline but otherwise it's perfect! Can't wait to put that on Francie!

I had just met one of the coolest woman in my life prior to taking this photo. I drove her past her ex-man's house and she said she'd buy me a drink. That drink turned into a pitcher to myself because she didn't want to drink. "I have a two hour drive ahead of me."
Well, after her departure, I went walking downtown because I still had two PB&Js for Mike and Moreese (see further in photo stream) if I had saw them. Walking down Saginaw I had saw a door open of this building that I actually at one time thought people worked in there. The door was open so I figured I'd be good if the cops came "Hey, the door was wide open."
It turns out to be a bank; I saw the open vault. Let me tell you, you see these things in movies and they really are as big and heavy as them seem. Atleast a foot thick and a good weight as well.
Before I went in I was texting Taylor and while I was inside she texted me; I called her right away.
"Hey, I'm in this building and you need to come down right now. I need to get a photo in this place. There's a vault and shit!"
She said her and friend Casey were waiting for some goods then they'd head my way from the UofM dorms. They finally show up and are sketched out a little about going in, but hey, I had already been up three floors so I reassured them that it was all good.
Both Taylor and Casey were more than pumped. We explore a few levels and then decide to just go to the top, you know, see how high we can get before the sun goes down and we're in the pitch black.
Before we know it, I see light. We're on the roof! Now, from blocks away, people say this is a house on top of this building and it honestly looks like it. There are windows and a chimney. Let me reassure you, this is not a house. Anyway, we're all pumped to be on top of this building. We're closer to the CB (Citizens Bank) Weather Ball than most will ever be. If we had rocks would could hit the light from where we were.
As the sun was setting I knew I had to get a photo or two. This is the result. It's just a shame the doors have been locked up for weeks now.
Talk about a great day off. The sun was shining, the sky was blue, and people made other people's day. What more could you ask for?
Casey is obsessed with this Bolt plush that is almost as big as he is! He carries it around and drops it at our feet. I have been trying for weeks to get a good shot of him with it but it's really hard to get a crisp shot up close that's focused properly, so in this shot I was a ways back so it's quite grainy and cropped a bit so the noise is magnified. I still love it though!
The brief stop over in Jackson Tennesse at the Casey Jones Museum and Home. Seen here is the standin for Casey Jones's original #382 that was involved in the accident in which he was killed. The original was scrapped by Illinois Central RR. This 4-6-0 standin is Baldwin Locomotive Works 1905 graduate construction number 27048. Originally a Clinchfield Railroad Locomotive, numbered 99. The locomotive has a fascinating history of it's own. the engine ran as late as 1952 in the Kingsport Tennesse yard. It's long time engineer passed away in the early '20s as a tribute to him and his dedication to the engine, the engine was used to carry his coffin from the church to the cemetary on the fron of the engine draped in black. The fence around his grave is made from replaced boiler piping from this engine. The engine was the roundhouse pet and survived well past other steam. It was eventually sold to the City of Jackson Tennesse.
Been giggling since I got him yesterday. Poor Ben Casey came to me in, what appears to be, a BamBam outfit. And his loafers.
The look is pure "my girlfriend made me wear this."

No fireworks shots left in my library to share, but I'm going to keep the streak up and at least upload something.
This shot was taken during the new Fantasyland Press Event in December 2012. It was a bit overwhelming to see the new land so decked out, and then smack dab in the middle of it was Casey JR who caught my eye. I snapped a quick photo as we crossed paths and then it was on to check out the festivities. Looking forward to getting back to New Fantasyland in October and spending some quality time exploring and photographing the area.
To my friends who are attending the Monstrous 24-Hour Event on either coast, good luck and godspeed to you all! Can't wait to see your photos.

Casey is a sweet male cat hoping that Santa will bring him a forever home for Christmas.

Our trim, fit, athletic Casey was diagnosed with diabetes this week. Last evening we went to our vet's office where a very patient and caring vet tech spent an hour (yes, an entire hour of her time, and at the end of the day, yet) training us on how to administer insulin. Part of the training was for us to each inject saline solution subcutaneously into poor Casey. Always one to pull through in a pinch, I promptly had a mini-panic attack and started to cry so my brave husband gamely stepped in. With his monocular vision and lack of depth perception, he took careful aim and managed to puncture himself. So the pressure was on. Obviously, I was going to have to take the lead on this thing. We were sent home with training materials and warm encouragement from the vet tech, and I tried to put it behind me. Yet when the time came this morning, I still quailed at the thought. On the second try, I was successful and managed to inject the insulin. Casey didn't even notice and as you can see, is still with us post-injection.

Had a really fun day shooting my friends Casey, and Brigitte. Hung out with Alex, Mikey, and them. Got food, played some music, then decided to do some random shoot. So we all went to a near by park, and I'm very pleased with the results
Later after they left, Mikey, Casey, and I walked home, and ended up catching a rabbit. Later found who it belonged to, and ended up returning it to the owner.
All in all, fun day, great time, and some nice shots :)

Casey’s Diner, at 36 South Avenue in Natick, Massachusetts, is a rare 1922 Worcester model. Like many early diner owners, Fred Casey began as a food cart salesman. He purchased this ten-stool diner in 1927 and originally located it on Washington Street. It moved to its current location in 1977. The Casey family has owned this diner for generations. It is possibly the oldest continually operating diner the United States, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.
Casey Mears rides in an Australian Aerobatic team "Roulettes" aircraft over the race course on the Gold Coast, Australia. The picture was taken on October 25, 2001.

It's been a while but thought I would just keep a record here.
Our first fur baby, she joined the family in 2003 and lived an amazing 19 years. A really long life where cats are concerned.
She’s also the subject of my one and only profile pic. That sweet little face hasn’t changed much over the years.

Casey knew it was going to rain too, because she wore her swingin' raincoat. I love this outfit. I love Casey.
Casey is my favorite Barbie & Family doll. I have a few of them, but I don't have a brunette yet.. though this is a brunette whose hair has turned red.
Casey was Francie's best friend. Francie is Barbie's MOD'ern cousin... introduced as younger and hipper than Barbie. Casey is wearing "Pazam!", perhaps one of the mod-est of the mod outfits. Unfortunately, I'm missing some of the pieces, including the ultra-cool pink braid hairpiece.. truly wild!
