This is one of my favorite places to go and relax. I will share it with you too! Enjoy your Saturday all. * Really busy today but will be back sometime tomorow*
You're like a song that I can stop singing,
or a book that I can't put down.

You Can Leave Your Hat On
Joe Cocker
Baby take off your coat
Real slow
And take off your shoes
I'll take off your shoes
Baby take off your dress
Yes yes yes
You can leave your hat on
You can leave your hat on
You can leave your hat on
Go on over there
Turn on the light
No all the lights
Come over here
Stand on this chair
That's right
Raise your arms up into the air
Now shake 'em
You give me a reason to live
You give me a reason to live
You give me a reason to live
You give me a reason to live
Sweet darling
You can leave your hat on
You can leave your hat on
Feeling
You can leave your hat on
You can leave your hat on
You can leave your hat on
You can leave your hat on
Suspicious minds a talkin'
Try'n' to tear us apart
They don't believe
In this love of mine
They don't know I love you
They don't know what love is
They don't know what love is
They don't know what love is
I know what love is
Sweet darling
You can leave your hat on
You can leave your hat on
Feeling
You can leave your hat on
You can leave your hat on

You can see beautiful things that make you cry, however, none of them can match the grace and beauty of a horse in freedom. - Anonymous
We are long overdue for a return to Amelia Island, one of my favorite places. Every time we've gone we made sure to take a boat tour to Cumberland Island. Along the way, if we're lucky, we see dolphins AND if we're really lucky, the tide is high and we can get fairly close to Cumberland Island, Georgia and see the wild horses that take up residence on the island.
I wish I could handle one of those massive lenses to get some great shots...but I'm sure if you search through flickr, particularly in the Cumberland Island group, you'll see these beauties in much better photos than mine!
Thanks to all for viewing, faving and/or commenting! Much appreciated! L 😊
Yes We Can Can
Now's the time for all good men
To get together with one another.
We got to iron out our problems
And iron out our quarrels
And try to live as brothers.
And try to find peace within
Without stepping on one another.
And do respect the women of the world.
Remember you all have mothers.
We got to make this land a better land
Than the world in which we live.
And we got to help each man be a better man
With the kindness that we give.
I know we can make it.
I know darn well we can work it out.
Oh yes we can, I know we can can
Yes we can can, why can't we?
If we wanna get together we can work it out.
And we gotta take care of all the children,
The little children of the world.
'Cause they're our strongest hope for the future,
The little bitty boys and girls.
We got to make this land a better land
Than the world in which we live.
And we got to help each man be a better man
With the kindness that we give.
I know we can make it.
I know darn well we can work it out.
Oh yes we can, I know we can can
Yes we can can, why can't we?
If we wanna, yes we can can.
Can't help sharing a bw version of the previous shot: as much as I love colour, 'there is something' in bw...
I can't afford to say yes to all my customer's desires, but one thing is certain – I can't afford the outrageous cost of not listening to their requests.

One of three photos taken after I went for a walk, when the blue skies came out and drove away the rain and overcast skies. There were two bouts of rain showers but I felt so good to be outdoors trying to physically distance from other people enjoying the outdoors.
Stay hopeful and healthy!
They can almost hear the music that the lovers were dancing to or even be able to draw on a memory of what the day in the photo smelled like+ :-)

Inside Passage, Viking Alaska cruise
The Inside Passage is a coastal route for ships and boats along a network of passages which weave through the islands on the Pacific Northwest coast of the North American Fjordland. The route extends from southeastern Alaska in the United States, through western British Columbia in Canada, to northwestern Washington state in the United States. Ships using the route can avoid some of the bad weather in the open ocean and may visit some of the many isolated communities along the route. The Inside Passage is heavily travelled by cruise ships, freighters, tugs with tows, fishing craft, pleasure craft, and ships of the Alaska Marine Highway, BC Ferries, and Washington State Ferries systems. Coast Guard vessels of both Canada and the United States patrol and transit in the Passage.
The lens is very slow, so the high ISO is unavoidable, also bit soft past 200mm but still have some fun with it ;) gonna take it to woodland soon so we can see it's potential;) no PP on photos, straight JPEG.

The worst part of holding the memories is not the pain.
It's the loneliness of it.
Memories need to be shared.

Can you see the people? These dunes are absolutely amazing and this may have been my favourite stop on our trip this summer to Wyoming, Utah and Colorado. When we got there I suggested we climb to the top of the dunes..and then when I realized how incredibly massive these dunes really are, and how hard it is to climb up a sand dune, AND it was about 90F, we were happy just to make it to the top of the first ridge. More photos to come, now that I have finally found time to go back to July photos. :-)
