A J. C. Higgins bicycle made in France.
Sears Roebuck sold a lot of bicycles under different house names. Their bikes after World War II were usually sold under the J. C. Higgins name and were mostly made in the United States by Murray. The Higgins name, (HIggins worked for Sears), was retired in the early 1970s after Sears licensed Ted Williams' name for their sporting goods.
I couldn't find any information about J. C. Higgins bicycles made in France.

TI CLAVD CAESAR • AVG • P • M • TR • P • XI • IMP • P • P COS V, laureate head right / PACI AVGVSTAE, Nemesis, winged and draped, advancing right, her right arm is bent upwards and with right hand she pulls out a fold of her robe below the neck, holding in left hand a winged caduceus pointed downwards at a snake gliding right before her. RIC I 62; von Kaenel Type 44, 752 (V638/R655); Lyon 78 (unlisted dies); RSC 68; BMCRE 69; BN 71 (Lugdunum). Choice EF, beautifully toned and extremely attractive. Perfectly centered on both sides.

One of two ridiculously cute sisters that make of the third group of the season. They were supervised and signed releases before our photo shoot in the wild.
VRC-30 Providers perform COD (Carrier On-board Delivery) duties to US Navy carriers at sea. They bring personnel, spare parts and equipment and most importantly, mail from land bases.
This particular aircraft has been fitted with Hamilton Sundstrand's NP2000 propeller as part of the SLEP program for all of the Navy's C-2 aircraft. The NP2000 increases power, while simultaenously reducing noise, vibration and maintenance costs. It is also being fitted on C-130 and E-2C Hawkeye aircraft.
