These two were a GP35 built 4/64, retired 7/80 and a GP30 built 5/63, retired 11/91.
This series of photos were all taken in Proviso Yards during the Summer of 1966 while I was working off the Extra Board as a switchman. The Proviso engine terminal is in the town of Melrose Park, Illinois. Different parts of the yards are in different Chicago suburbs.

This generation of the Opel Rekord was built from 1966 until 1972. Apart from this two-door model a number of other versions were available. In Brazil this model was built into the 1990's as Chevrolet Opala.

This Short SC-7 Skyvan 3 from Nomad Air of Whitehorse is in Vernon for a weekend of sky diving.From the entries on the Guestbook it appears it has worked with the Canadian Pararescue groups. Last time it was here it had nice red lightning bolt stripes along the fuselage.

C-GZCE - Beechcraft D-18S Expeditor (C-45) - Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum - at Hamilton International Airport (YHM)

Current Military Markings: RCAF HB143
The Museum's Expeditor was manufactured in 1946 and was operated by a New York airline carrying passengers and freight between Florida and Maine. International Nickel (INCO) operated it for nearly 25 years hauling men and equipment to prospecting sites and mines in Canada and Central America. Dennis Bradley acquired the aircraft in 1982 and then donated it to the Museum. The aircraft has been restored in the colours and markings of a detached photographic section of the RCAF, circa 1944, which was stationed in Winnipeg.

Point Lobos State Natural Reserve - The jewel in the crown of California's State park system - Point Lobos is famous for its breathtaking two mile coastline whic offers to the visitor views of beautiful coves and mysterious caves, an abundance of spring wildflowers, nesting birds on offshore rocks, otters and seals, and dramatic Cypress trees precariously perched on rugged rock formations. Point Lobos is a nature lover's paradise.
Bird Island is located upper left. Thousands of birds, primarily Brant Cormorant and Pelagic Cormorant, breed on the island.
