This one is my favourite so far.

'Buttons' On Black

I love using buttons as a design element. For this swap the buttons works as a way of tying together different garments in my wardrobe. The striped blue and white buttons on the sailor pants picks up the white in my tops. And the black and white buttons on the polo shirt connects to my darker bottoms.

The black and white buttons on the gray dress matches the black and white leaf print on the hem of the dress.

Mini velvet and silk

This card features two idea that I've admired on other people's cards on Flickr.

The first one is to use a rubber stamp to make an overall background design and the

other one is using buttons. I really like the look of cards with buttons. The stamps I've

used here are from the Hero Arts Quatros set LL063 Pinwheels. I hand stitched the buttons on to the card. I like the way that the shapes, sizes and colours of the buttons

echo the stamped background.

My brother went back home (ontario, canada) for a wedding, but he also stopped in to see relatives and our grandmother gave him a whole bunch of buttons to pass on to me. Most of the 5-10 pounds or so of buttons are mother of pearl, and a select few like seen here are colored mother of pearl. Nice stuff. Not sure what I'm going to do with them yet. :)

I am not sure what to write about FButtons. With all honesty it wasnt the gig to remember. It had the potential to produce excellent photos. It all flipped when someone from the audience came, complaying about the flashes (there were about 5 photographer, all using external flashes). After that, i was unable to get a decent photo, even with my f1.8

Een nieuwe layout betekent een nieuw setje buttons. :)

it was so difficult looking for the right buttons :( these are still small. oh well.

Cheyenne is starting little Buttons, getting him used to human contact and being touched. He was very nervous at first, but he is now much more relaxed and starting to trust her. This is going to take a bit of time because Buttons is 98% wild, and has had very little human contact. In five days he has gone from panicking over everything, to trusting her to tickle his muzzle, and to eat from a bucket she is holding (this entails him putting his eye close to her hand, which requires a great deal of trust on his part.) Well done Buttons and Cheyenne!

received from Het Kleine Woud - these beautiful buttons perfectly suit the fabric she sent me!!!

These are the ATC's I originally had in mind for the Threaded ATC swap. One of them had a mark on the card so I covered it with a button and added a few more for balance. I really like adding the buttons to these woven ATC's.

Boredom at work continues to ensue.

Results of my annual, mid-summer trip to the coastal plain of the Carolinas for orchids and wildflowers. The first stop on the trip was the Francis Marion National Forest in Berkeley County, South Carolina. A great day for photography - overcast but no rain.
