Common supermarket button mushrooms. Marinated briefly in olive oil and tamari, with a little cracked pepper and roasted until tender; then topped with a sprinkling of freshly chopped chives. Mushrooms are both photogenic, and one of my absolute favorite foods. They're a good source of potassium and some of the B vitamins.

this is an image that has been in my head as far back as i can remember. in childhood it was kind of an devilish imp but it's turned into more of a daemon wizard as time has passed. it's flexible enough in my mind to associate with any emotion in any setting. it has a body occasionally but the head is the most distinctive feature.

We really like using our elliptical trainer, but having the 'Reset' button right next to the "St/Stop" button just seems like a bad idea.I just hate it when I accidentally reset the machine.

Now that I'm looking at it though, I think I'll take the button off and put it back on with a different thread color.

Beautiful large sweater button - being sold by Di Gilpin (wonderful knitwear designer) at Selvedge Winter Fair. Loved this wistful leaf/twig design, and the grey ceramic attached to the card with contrasting red thread.

I was inspired by some paint samples I saw at Lowe's. I just love how it turns out.
