This was my first attempt at making a button bracelet. I had so much fun, I see many more in my future. (Especially with the plethora of buttons I have right now)!
Made using the Robin's Egg Blue Hat on Ravelry. 12ply felted yarn.

I needed to replace the buttons on my gloves and found these in my mom's old button tub. Pretty cool, huh?

Tree bark inspired vase
a little larger than an ostrich egg
7 x 5.5 Inches, (17.5 x 14 cm), opening size just over 1 in, (2.8 cm).
Cost: £65 (postage included, to U.K. and USA)
Opal white interior, textured black outer surface
This pattern was created by making different colored layers during the hot glass making process. When the piece has cooled down, I mask off areas then sandblast the remaining outer surface, cutting thru this layer of glass to see the previous underlying layer. This multi step, time consuming process created this bark-like inspired pattern.

December 2008
This cute little fellow came with his twin sister today. The lighting was so good that I grabbed my camera, and snapped quite a few shots of him.
I have not been posting much to flickr because of my camera problems...I am still working to resolve it. I have not heard back from Canon, so I once again called the seller and he felt sure he could get me a new camera from Canon. It sure would be nice to have a picture that is focused where I wanted it to be focused.
All of these pictures were taken with all the focal points...kind of like throwing spaghetti at a wall and seeing what sticks.
Paul and I drove to Tulsa on Sunday morning to pick this little guy up. He's our adopted pup, Button! He is just the sweetest, most well-behaved dog- I couldn't be more happy with him. I've always wanted a corgi and even though he's three, he still acts like a bouncing little puppy:)
Disclaimer- he may take over my 365...

I bought this vintage button at a craft fair. The seller told me it was Victorian. I knitted a hat especially for it to live on
