It's a canned laughter machine. The laughter is on cassettes: four different intensities. You can press more than one button at a time, to merge the different laughs, so you've got a potential fifteeen different laughter sounds, I think, if my maths is right. GENIUS.

They don't make button trims as funky as they did in the 1970's ~ and they certainly don't price them in old AND new money.
