For our last hike of the trip we drove out through Comb Wash and did the half mile walk to the Butler Wash ruins and natural bridge. Since we'd gone there to do a little exploring as well, we kept going and went all the way to the top of Comb Ridge.

July 9: Butler Wash/Comb Ridge
Butler's Wharf is an area on the south bank of the River Thames just east of London's Tower Bridge - overlooking both the bridge and St Katharine Docks on the other side of the river. The main thoroughfare through the area is the historic and picturesque street Shad Thames.
Butler's Wharf was built 1871-73 as a shipping wharf and warehouse complex, accommodating goods unloaded from ships using the port of London. It contained what was reputedly the largest tea warehouse in the world. During the 20th century, Butler's Wharf and other warehouses in the area fell into disuse.
From 1975-78 the artists' space at 2B Butler's Wharf was a key venue for early UK video art and performance art.
Since the 1980s Butler's Wharf has been transformed from a run-down derelict site into luxury flats with restaurants and shops on the ground floor. Terence Conran owns several of the restaurants, which include Butler's Wharf Chop House, Pont de la Tour and Cantina del Ponte.
The Thames Path runs in front of the Grade II listed buildings of Butler's Wharf.

I found this at Joanns in PB. they only had about 1.5 yds so I guess maybe pillowcases. Maybe I'll start making skirts for the ladies.
It reminds me of dkny play and amy butler prints and my friend Lauren.
I ended up making cafe curtains for my bedroom, I wish I had more of it as I would really like to use this in a quilt where the flowers were outlined and meandering quilting following the lines between the flowers.
My first attempt at making a Bulldog Cake. The stencil I made stuck to the frosting too much. Next time I'll have to use crusting buttercream (or fondant)
On Dec 5, 2015 a group of Red Cross volunteers and employee's met to prepare for and then installed smoke alarms and provided disaster readiness information to senior residents at the Mountain Springs Mobile Home Park in San Jose.

David Schramm stars as Major General Butler and Maurice Jones makes his BSC debut as the slave, Shepard Mallory. Also in the cast are Ben Cole and John Hickok.
Wide and sandy for most of its length. The lower portion of Butler Canyon has sections of dense brush with cottonwoods and flowing water. There were several large potholes that could easily be avoided and even some beaver activity!
Onesies made for Alice and a baby due next month to be named Maya. Made with Amy Butler's midwest modern collection fabric.
Jonathan Butler was a bit disappointing - not much stage presence. Difficult for him to follow Jamie Cullum!

Maggie often wondered where the giant blue tankers were going. father had told her "to the airbase" and left it at that, but she remembered one day, in Grady's outfitters, that the glass in Grady's shop window vibrated when one came rumbling along the main street.
As to the model, it's still not accurate to Dinky standards, but now it has decals, and laquer.

Cashelle Butler, who attended Cherry Creek High School and graduated from Cherokee Trail High School in Aurora and the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, is home playing Tanya in the farewell tour of "Mamma Mia," at the Buell Theatre through April 16. Butler spent an afternoon with the Cherry Creek High School choir and theatre students. She answered their questions, taught them some choreography from the show, and toured backstage at her old stomping grounds, where she performed in many school productions including "Thoroughly Modern Millie."
