Front on view of my reproduction Bush TR-82 radio. Taken with 50 watt halogen dichroic reflector spotlight facing the subject with 20 watt compact fluorescent as background lighting.
I had trouble thinking of a title for this because I'm not even sure what kind of bush this is, or what these cones are really called. But I was looking out my window, and noticed that the bush in front of the house was sprouting these little things.
My heart belongs to macro, so I decided to take the camera outside before the expected rain started to fall and shoot the little cones for posterity.
Sometimes this project is about extraordinary events, but some days it's just about capturing the ordinary. This is one of the latter kind of days.

I saw this bush today as i was walking my dogs, saw the giant symmetrical leafs they had and thought to myself a deep, meaningful and spiritual thought: one hard stobe under each leaf, full cut cto on each, set to 1/32nd power, f22 at 1/250th, ISO 100 triggered by pocketwizards
