What world now be dubbed a 'rebranding exercise'! The new colour was green, and the 'North' bit the dust! LS150 poses for an evening shot at the end of Godalming High St during summer 1999. This was the last bus up from Chiddingfold (18.50 from memory) and obviously had no passengers this night, as was often the case. The final route 71 working from Guildford (19.55) only went as far as Witley, and ran back to Guildford light.

Go-Ahead London duly took over its five new routes from Saturday 17th September 2011. Route D8 is operated with a batch of brand-new 10.2-metre Enviro200s from its Silvertown base, as illustrated by SE141 turning into Stratford City Bus Station during the afternoon of Monday 19th September, the first weekday of operation.

Now that Go-Ahead has taken over, buses on D8 now proudly display the new destination of Stratford City, served since Tuesday 13th September - First did not bother with new displays for just four days of operation!

(Soory about the rear end of the bus being cut off, but I wanted to include the photo for topicality).

Although now 9905 on the front it currently remains 905 on the side
