#AB_FAV_IN_AUTUMN_ 🍄🍁🍂

Most of you know by now how I love 'playing' with light, a never ending beautiful challenge, food for my creative soul, which I so desperately need at the moment...

Each flower, leaf or object, most definitely people, seem to have a different 'personality' which I'm trying to capture.

No matter where you are in Autumn, Japan, Scotland, Belgium or England, the leaves have their "moment'.

Some earlier, some later, I believe Beach is latest.

No matter, Overwhelming beauty.

With love to you and thank you for ALL your faves and comments, M, (* _ *)

Happy Bench Monday from Middle River on this sunset before the Superbowl ... it was an amazing burn in the sky and glad I took a chance on the colors being there in the sky. The potential was there with the clouds around and mother nature did her work.

Yes, my burning passion for flowers, the capturing of their beauty in a thousand different ways, a wonderful challenge... everyday!

There are people who 'talk' to the flowers and plants?

Me, I just 'listen' to them, I open the wrapping, they fall open on the table, I look carefully, with open heart, and they tell me.

The closer I looked the more these invited me in, to listen , yet keeping the centre of the flower still very secret...

They emerged from the dark.

Have a great day and thank you for your visit and comment, M, (*_*)

Every year at the solstice people fire the mountains in austria in the area of zugspitze. Looking at the sunset and the city lermoos at the valley and the mountain called Grubigstein (2233m). With this tradition the people banish demons and evil spirits. Since 2010 are the burning mountains cultural heritage of UNESCO.

Good morning dear Flickr-friends of photography,

with the "Crossings"- Series I would like to show you some new photographic inspirations while my paddling tours on the big Lake Constance. I was located the last weeks at Bregenz in Austria. The mountains in the back, the lake in front of my tent. Most of the time I spent on the water with kayak or SUP very early in the morning or over the day. The upper lake, we call it "Obersee" has a big expanse and a complete other dynamic as the under lake ("Untersee") at my home. Sometime I was fighting with big waves at 6 a.m. under a cloudy sky when I cross the lake to Lindau in Bavaria. In the evening sometimes we had a flat surface with wonderful reflections and silky effects. A special were always the night trips with full eliminated boats like Gondolas in Venice. Granted: Sometimes it was a bit difficult to find home because of the darkness at the shore. But... I always found the way back to my basic station with a light in my heart...;)

Have a great week ahead, see you soon!

🎶Said I'm the one who's wanted for all the fires you started

You knew the house was burning down, I had to get out

You led your saints and sinners, and fed 'em lies for dinner

You knew the house was burning down, and look at you now🎶

Happy Sliders Sunday to all flickr friends, HSS

it finally stopped raining and I was able to get outside and capture the burning bushes as they catch on fire!!

Got a little too close for comfort for this photo, however I feel the heat and risk of camera damage was worth it!

The Australian version of Burning Man

Almost three years later to the date, the signals are gone, but the skies look much the same. Recently, a cold front has cleared out the smoke over the northern plains and Great Lakes region, providing a reprieve, if only brief. But with the western part of this continent experiencing a severe drought and burning to the ground, views like this will come back; a scene that is likely to be more of a norm rather than an expectation. One thing I know for certain though, you won't be seeing many searchlights for too much longer.

Hoping to slow the burnout in 2025. Self portrait

This is one of my favorite times to go out and take photos… just before the sun sets. I went out every sunset for these epic scenes.

Thanks for all faves and comments, truly appreciated!!!

Burning Red Sky 田貫湖の朝焼け

With an anticipation of dramatic dawn, I drove to Lake Tanuki, a small lake on the western slope of Fujisan from Lake Yamanaka where I live. Thankfully, the scene was as beautiful as I anticipated.

実際にはそれほど劇的に焼けなかったのだけど、3分間の露光設定で印象的に切り取ることができました。
