Kurz nach dem die Sonne hinter dem Horizont verschwand, verfärbte sich der Himmel purple orange. Die entstandene Lichtstimmung wirkte dramatisch und wuchtig und zog die Blicke auf sich.

Attila crossed the Danube,
Hannibal crossed the Alps,
Caesar crossed the Rubicon.
And I crossed
My self.
Burning all the flowers behind me!
Can Yücel (1926 - 1999)
Had this picture and since it's heart time, I've posted it!
The text and lyrics are known to Elvis, although he personally did not like it.
It is neither an apocalyptic threat proclaiming the end of all life,
nor a gimmick with Photoshop, Luminar or any other software.
This is merely a spectacle that can regularly be seen above the Bremen steelworks when the blast furnaces are tapped.
In clear nights, all you see is a red glow, but with low-hanging clouds the effect is very dramatic.
Burning our tree that was out front the was dying and I cut down in Fall. No more pretty blossoms ... but making for a neat series of burning wood.
Using the 300 prime and extender as a near macro lens works well so you do not have to get too close the fire.
Hope you enjoy.

Australia is suffering a major climatic disaster. Those infernal fires are of gigantic proportions, that are hard to imagine for most of us. Climate change is real. Young people have realized and are shouting for help, but sadly, politicians seem to don't care. In Mexico our ignorant president are supporting fossil fuels instead of renovable energies, which is a tremendous error for our future. Hope we can make a change before this is unavoidable.

When our earth is turning
How do we sleep

And it's my favourite ferry 'Charlotte' on the harbour at dusk. 'Charlotte' is just passing the boardwalk alongside Luna Park, and is about to dock at Milsons Point Wharf.
I walked to this location from Lavender Bay, where I parked the car up on Lavender Street, near the corner of Blues Point Road. Handy to the Ma Kiin Thai restaurant for later, or maybe Spanish at 'Delicado', lol.
